Beef Barley Stew
Ingredients:
1 pound stew meat- diced
1 1/2 cup sliced carrots
1 1/4 cup diced onion
1 cup chopped celery
5 cups water
1 tsp parsley flakes (or you can substitute fresh)
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp beef bouillon powder
1/2 cup pearl barley
15 oz can of tomato sauce
To prepare:
Throw it all in the crock pot, stir it up, and cook 8-10 hours on low, or 4-5 hours on high

If you want to freeze to make ahead, omit the carrots and water, bag the rest of the ingredients, and then add carrots and water day of.
